Clinical Partnerships

MOUNT SINAI SERVICES, through its close relationships with Mount Sinai Hospital, the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute, the Molecular Imaging Group and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, works closely with many leading medical researchers.

Through these collaborations MSS can provide introductions to respected investigators and key opinion leaders, support patient recruitment, and provide access to documented clinical specimens and outcomes data.  Our experts can help to guide assay development, lead clinical trials and help to prove the clinical utility of new innovations.

Centres of Excellence

By establishing formal Centres of Excellence, Mount Sinai has pioneered a structure where clinicians and scientists work even more collaboratively to improve patient care, expedite new treatments and discoveries, and bring therapies from the research bench to the patient bedside. This model builds on the Hospital’s existing strengths and creates interprofessional groups positioned to strategically respond to changes in the health care environment.

Some of Mount Sinai's leading clinical and research centres include:

  • Zane Cohen Centre for Digestive Diseases

  • Christopher Sharp Centre for Surgery and Oncology

  • Frances Bloomberg Centre for Women's and Infant's Health

  • Centre for Fertility and Reproductive Health

  • Rebecca MacDonald Centre for Arthritis and Autoimmune Disease

  • Leadership Sinai Centre for Diabetes

  • Wasser Pain Management Centre

  • Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Musculoskeletal Research
